Dear Fr, I live in Waverly, NY. Presently attending Orthodox church in Endicott . Although the Divine Liturgy is beautiful in Orthodoxy, we do not regularly, in my opinion , receive in depth sermons. The BCP has beautiful prayers as Orthodoxy does too.There are a few traditions in Orthodoxy I’m not doing. Yeah, to have great respect for Holy Icons I do as also the Bible. But the latter is most important. In 2 weeks I will visit your church. I like your sermon. I did learn something that helps during the day. When I am tempted in negative thoughts, I remind self to relax and release those thoughts and bodily agitation. Hopefully I am asking God to help in this. Perhaps this is surrendering to God so His Grace may enter again. Sincerely, Steve
